Archives: Introduction

The purpose of these archive pages is to remember and document the people who were, in whatever way, a part of Wrestling at San Jose State University. There were great wrestlers at SJSU, there were mediocre wrestlers at SJSU, but all spent hours and hours of their lives literally dripping blood, sweat, and tears trying to master the sport of wrestling. And there were the coaches and the assistant coaches who also spent hours and hours of their lives trying to create champions. Or at least wrestlers who were better wrestlers. And there were the people, who were not wrestlers themselves, but in some way gave of themselves to help the wrestling program at SJSU function.

This website is dedicated to the wrestlers, the coaches, and the supporters (athletic, of course) who were a part of Wrestling at San Jose State University for so many decades.

The archives will be constantly under construction. As more photos, more information are procured, they will be added. If you were a wrestler and or know somebody who was, and would like to have yours or that wrestler's career at SJSU recorded here in the archives, please send me an email. If you recognize wrestlers whose names are unknown at the moment, again, please send me an email. Anything that you can share will be welcome.
