3-13-47 SJS Matmen Seek Title Coach Ted Mumby's Spartan varsity wrestling team, undaunted by its narrow defeat by San Diego State last weekend, is gunning for sweet revenge this weekend at the UCLA campus when eight Spartans participate in the PCI championships. Two Spartans won title honors in the CCAA meet while six others reached the finals. The champs were co-captain Hans Weidenhofer and Bill Rodman. Coach Mumby is plenty worried because California, as well as San Diego State, is entered in the tourney and both of these squads figure to give the Spartans a tussle for the championship. Other entrants include UCLA and Whittier.
