  Three Matsters Out Of Hospital

 
     
  Conditions of three SJS wrestlers, injured in an auto accident Friday morning near Gilroy, were reported as satisfactorily improved by Edwin Markham Health Cottage officials Saturday.

Three of the best wresters on the Pacific Coast, Mel Bruno, Jack Smith, and Fortune Masdeo, became involved in the accident when their light car was sideswiped by a trailer. The trio was traveling to their homes in Los Angeles. Smith was most severely injured, three stitches being required to sew up a wound on his temple. He also suffered severe cuts, but was scheduled to be released from the Health Cottage yesterday. Bruno and Masdeo escaped with minor injuires.

The three wrestlers were coast titleholders in their respective divisions for 1938.
