PAA Tourney Is Final Meet For Wrestlers |

| Their long dual season having been completed against Los Angeles Junior College Friday, coach Gene Grattan's wrestlers
await the final bouts of the year with several of his star matadors scheduled to participate in the PAA championships
at San Francisco April 22nd. Since January 14th, Sparta's wrestling fraternity has been winning matches weekly. The most successful season in SJS history was ended Friday with the victory over LAJC. In only tourneys, the Far Western meet and Pacific Coast championships, were Grattan's crew outscored. On each occasion University of California topped the Spartans in points scored, but mentor Grattan's squad won the same amount of first places. State is acknowledged a stronger mat team because of their lopsided victory over the Bears in a dual meet held Feb 25th. |
