Every wrestling team on the coach at the moment is envying San Jose State College's mat boss Ted Mumby. The coach
and his big bruisers won the coveted Far Western championship crown from a field of 15 competing squads.
The local wrestlers now turn their eyes to this week's big matches. The problem facing Mumby is whether he will
be able to use his first squad against University of California which visits the Men's Gym Friday evening at 7:30,
or sending his leading grapplers to San Diego for the National Junior Wrestling Championships to be held this weekend. |
