Seven Matmen To Make Trip |

| Seven San Jose State wrestlers have been named Spartan representatives in the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate tournament
booked for Washing State college at Pullman, March 9 and 10. Ted Mumby, coach of the Spartan mat team, announced yesterday that the local squad will board a plane at Oakland along with wrestlers form the University of California, Call Aggies, Cal Poly, and San Francisco State college. The local delegation will fly from San Jose to Oakland Thursday morning. They are scheduled to arrive in Pullman at 4:00 pm Thursday. Raider entries for the PCI championship include Bennie Ichikawa (123), John Jackson (130), Ray Bunnell (147), Frank Waxham, co-captain (157), Lee Jordan, co-captain (167), Al Cadena (191), and Jean Snyder (hwt). California plans to send five grapplers to Pullman, Cal Poly will send three, the Cal Aggies and San Francisco State will send one entrant each. The only other California entries probably will include grapplers from San Diego State and UCLA. |
