SJS Trio To Wrestle At Pullman

| Three top Spartan wrestlers will compete tomorrow in the NCAA District 8 qualifying tournament at Washington State
University in Pullman. |

| Senior Terry Kerr will compete at 142 pounds. The three-year SJS star placed second in last week's PCAA championships
at Fresno. His sophomore brother Tim finished fourth in the PCAA. He will take on the district's best 158 pounders. |

| Junior Dan Cabral will compete for SJS at 118. He transferred here this semester from San Jose City College. |

| Coach Hugh Mumby said of the meet, "The first five qualify, but in order to hope to be sent further in the
NCAA, our wrestlers will have to place in the top three at Pullman." |

| The wrestlers will return to San Jose for the West Coast Championships to be held March 13. They are also scheduled
to compete in the Far West Championships in San Francisco, March 20. |

| The NCAA championship tournament will be held this year in Alabama at Auburn University. |
