Spartan Wrestlers Pin Treasure Island Squad |

| Pinning five of their eight opponents, the Spartan wrestlers trounced the Treasure Island Pirates 28-8 at Treasure
Island last night. The Spartans forfeited the 130-pund bout and lost the 157-pound contest when Cliff Haynes decisioned Ken Simpkins 6-4. Tom McIntosh (167) scored the quickest pin of the night over Bob Baker in 1:32. Also winning by pins were Kiyoshi Oshiba (123), Ben Fernandez (137), Ron Phillips (177), and Wayne Womer (hwt). Lynn Brooks (147) decisioned Dick Shrader 8-4 for the other SJS win. |
