Olsen And Hines Enter National Wrestling Tourney |

| Because of transportation difficulties, only two Spartan wrestlers will enter the National Collegiate Tournament
at Lansing, Michigan, March 27 and 28. Team captain Dave Hines and Ivan Olsen, both PCI titleholders last year, will make the journey by bus, leaving this weekend. Olsen will grapple at 128, and Hines at 155. Hines has been wrestling at 165 all season but will wrestle at the lower weight for the national tourney. Olsen was a doubtful starter until yesterday when he was approved by the doctor to make the trip. He suffered a rib injury in the Far Western tourney two weeks ago and was kept out of the last three meets. Both men have an even chance to place high among the national wrestlers from across the nation, according to coach Sam Della Maggiore. |
