Wrestlers To Clash In Annual Tourney

Wrestling coach Hugh Mumby will send an eight-man squad to the fifth annual PCI tournament to be held at Cal Poly-San
Luis Obispo Friday and Saturday.
In Dick Francis, the Spartans will have a PCI defending champion in the 177-pound division.
The Golden raider lineup as announced by Mumby is the following: Kay Toyota (115), George Lao (123), Pete Herder
(137), Russ Utley (157), Gus Talbot (167), Francis (177), Jerry Ruse (191), and Lee Baxter is the probable heavyweight
starter.
Other schools in the tourney are Washington State, Oregon State, Oregon, Portland State, Lewis and Clark, San Francisco
State, Cal Poly, San Diego State, California, UCLA, Stanford, and Santa Clara. |
