Wrestler Close Season Against Santa Clara Tonight |

| The Spartan wrestlers will attempt to pin down the Santa Clara grapplers tonight to close out the dual meet season
at 7:30 in MG207. With a 7-5-1 record going into Saturday evening's UCLA encounter, a win tonight will guarantee Hugh Mumby's matmen of a winning season. Results of the Los Angeles meet were not available at press time. Mumby plans to pit reserves against Santa Clara. The Broncos sport an inexperienced contingent and Mumby expects an easy victory. The Pacific Coast tourney on March 5th will close out competition for the majority of the team. At the tournament, scheduled to take place at Hill High School in San Jose, winners will qualify for the NCAA championships in Ames, Iowa, March 24-26. |
