| The Spartan grapplers tallied three pins and four decisions Wednesday night to thump San Francisco State 27-3.
Only a close decision awarded to the Gator's Jim Reed (167) kept SJS from a shutout. The win brought SJS's season
record to 5-5. |

| In individual matches, Mike Stone (123) pinned SFS's Bob Flowers. John Lim (130) took a 2-0 decision over Ira Marks. |

| Art Beatty (137) won over Doug Grimes by a fall. Carl Dommeyer (147) followed up by pinning Ernie Carlson. Gary
Scardina (157) decisioned George McNeal 6-4. |

| Cliff Olsen (167) dropped a close 2-0 match against Reed. Bill Harm (177) handily disposed of Jerry Schiffman in
a 9-3 decision. Heavyweight Don Anderson completed the rout by decisioning Dennis Toll 6-1. |
