of California on the Spartan mats. |

| Over the vacation, the wrestlers on three dual meets and finished fourth in the San Francisco State Invitational
Tournament. |

| The Spartans received strong performances from several wrestlers. Art Stone (115) and Arno Dominguez (145) have
topped the lower divisions. In the middle weights, Gary Ramstetter (160) and Walt Thatcher (167) have proven difficult
to defeat. |

| Paul Hatling (177) and Cleve Holt (hwt) have anchored the Spartan lineup. In a meet against Chico last week, Holt
garnered a pin in the final event to give SJS a narrow 18-15 victory. |
