SJS To Meet Gators and Olympic Club |

| Coach Ted Mumby's Spartan varsity wrestling squad travels to San Francisco this evening where it meets the strong
San Francisco State wrestling squad. With only one loss to California to mar the record, the SJS wrestling squad hopes to make it two in a row against the Gator squad. The Spartans won seven matches this season. Thursday night, the strong Olympic Club matmen invade the Spartan Gym in what promises to be the "meet of the year". The Clubmen are bringing several champion wrestlers, including the well known Doc Northrup who won the NAAU 165 pound title last year. The Winged O grapplers are expected to give the Spartans their most trouble for the PCI championships which takes place soon. The Spartans who will see action again this week include Carl Holmberg and Bill Rothwell (121), Ray Miser (155), Pat Felice (170), and Hans Weidenhofer (175). The others will be named by Coach Mumby sometime today. |
