to Palo Alto Wednesday evening to match muscles with the Stanford Indians. |

season log to 2-3 in dual meet competition. |

| The one bright spot of the southland jaunt was a convincing 19-9 triumph over Long Beach State, while both San
Diego State and UCLA pinned narrow setbacks on the Spartans. |

| Warren King, undefeated 147-pounder, was the only Spartan to win all three matches, while Jim Noon (177) and Don
Anderson (hwt) were victorious twice. |
