Tsarnas Leads Wrestlers In Invitational Tournament

| Andy Tsarnas captured first place in the 190-pound weight class to lead Spartan wrestlers at last weekend's Caesar's
Palace Invitational in Las Vegas. |

| Tsarnas, one of SJSU's most consistent wrestlers this year, helped the Spartans place seventh in the team standings. |

| Teammates John Middlestead and David Barnes finished second and sith overall in their respective weight classes.
Middlestead (134) and Barnes (142) had advanced to the second day of qualifying with 3-0 records. |

| Other Spartans participating in the tournament were David Ciprian (118), Brad Gustafson (126), Randy Hood (150),
Pat Huyck (158), Jack Norton (167), Marvin Jones (177), and Mike Monroe (hwt). |
