SJSU Wrestling Archives The Spartan Daily 12-19-51                  Wrestlers Take AAU Tourney            San Jose State won five individual titles in last Saturday's sweep of the Pacific Association AAU Novice Wrestling Tournament for the fourth straight year. The list of Spartan champions included: Frank Fuentes (115), George Lao (123), Don Camp (130), Joe Tiago (137), and Brooke Vincent (157). San Jose also had two runnerups and a pair of fourth place finishers. Joe Ross lost to Lao in the 123-pound division, while Elmer Pfaffenberger was beaten by Vincent for a fourth place in the 157 class. Spartan Boots Edmondson lost by a fall in the finals of the heavyweight bracket, and Bob Billings took a fourth in the 123-pound division. Coach Ted Mumby's team garnered 71 points to finish ahead of the Alameda NAS, with 51.5, and California, with 27.
