SJSU Wrestling Archives The Spartan Daily 1-9-64                 Chico State Matmen Clash Here Saturday    After taking a shot vacation from competition, the SJS varsity wrestling team entertains the Chico State Wildcats in dual meet action Saturday. The visiting Chico State Grapplers will clash against the Spartans at 3 pm in MG207, according to coach Hugh Mumby. "Chico State has three good men on its squad," stated Mumby. "Ken Harris, a 157-pounder, Bob Benson at 167-pounds, and heavyweight John Cook are the best wrestlers on the Wildcats' team." Mumby hasn't seen Chico State in action this year but will get a chance to view the Wildcats Friday night when they tangle with Santa Clara University. Chico State will get a workout against the Broncos and then wrestle against the Spartans the following afternoon. San Jose State hasn't had a match since meeting Fresno State before christmas vacation break.
