SJS's Warren King (147) decisioned highly-touted Spencer Tamoto 7-5, Cliff Olson (157) decisioned Poly's Halley Hebert 2-1, and Dave Armstrong (123) won by forfeit.

Mumby described King's and Proctor's victories as "come through" performances. He said their matches and Lopez' contest were "outstanding" matches."
