SJSU Wrestling Archives The Spartan Daily 1-23-50                   Grapplers Groom For Junior Meet           The year 1950 has treated coach Ted Mumby and his versatile wrestlers in perfect fashion thus far as they prepare for Saturday's matches in the Northern California Junior Wrestling Tournament at Berkeley. San Jose's mat grapplers have compile and impressive total of three wins over San Francisco State, Alameda Naval Air Station, and El Toro Marine Base, with nary a loss. San Francisco's Olympic Club, which downed the Spartans twice in last December's dual meet and Portola tournament, will reign a strong favorite in the weekend gathering. Since 1947, the San Jose teams have become top contenders in the NCJWT.
