Matmen Face Poly Friday |

| San Jose State's wrestling squad, fresh from a 19-14 victory over a good Adams State College team last week, will
meet Cal Poly Friday in the Spartan Gym at 1 pm. This will be the second dual meet contest of the season for the Spartans. Varsity mat coach Hugh Mumby, optimistic about Friday's match, was well pleased with the performances of his grapplers against Adams State. Mumby announced that Dave Nevis, out for the past two weeks with an ankle injury, well be ready to go in the 130-pound division. Cal Poly, never a real power in collegiate wrestling, is expected to bring a top-notch club to Spartan Gym. |
